I had this very vivid dream two times now, and it starts out with me hanging out with my wife, kids and random friends from the past. We’re all walking in a group down a city street, not going anywhere in particular. Then, a random friend says we’re all going to sign up for this kids game show to be extras on. When we arrive at the building, it’s a big empty white space, and on the left side are long pop up tables, a big line of people and a pushy Hollywood type lady signing people up for the game show. I wait in line, several adult males cut me in line, but it’s a cluster of a line (like airport lines), so I say nothing, but more firmly establish my spot in line. The sign up sheet is odd; on those tables are a bunch of scattered, scribbled on papers, with various marker doodles. You have to grab one for the Hollywood lady sign your name on. I grabbed my scrap of used paper, wondering if it was even valid to use, and gave it to the pushy Hollywood lady. She’s a lot nicer with me personally, and asks me my name. I tell her and she says, “that’s it?” To which I chuckle and reply, “yep.” She writes my name and says she’ll “spice it up” and writes a bunch of illegible letters but draws a very detailed castle. Im impressed by the speed in which she did so. She hands me the paper, which I assume was going to be a contestant “running bib” thing, but she says throw it away. She tells me to get in this other line, where my brother in law is waiting already. At this point, the original group of people I’m with are gone, assumed to be in the game show already. I speak with BIL noting how impressed I was about how fast the lady drew the castle on my paper before discarding it. We proceed in the line to another room with multiple entrances, and BIL is ushered into a different one than I; he’s gone and I never see him again. I’m greeting with a fairly large space and a giant colorful obstacle course. The main frames of the course are red with multicolored nets. It’s like something you’d see at one of those kids birthday party places. There are a ton of kids and teenagers, but no one from my group or BIL. They’re all in line going through the course, and I’m wondering where all the cameras are, but I’m quickly pushed by kids behind me and I start the course. I start running and jump over some red cylinders and duck under some random nets. That’s when things get a little weird. I come up to this net bridge, but I fall right through it because the nets are made of play dough. How they reconstruct them fast enough for the kids behind me is my immediate thought. I press on, but keep falling through the play dough nets. At this point, I feel like I’m outside the course and notice other kids further on in the course, not falling through. I think to myself, that I lost the game show. So, rI quickly run along the outside of the course towards the end, trying to “fake it” and sit down in one a many big lines of kids. I notice I’m the only adult in these lines. I watch as the last kids complete the course and then there are suddenly adults at the front of each line instructing us to wait as the last kids get situated in line. The adults start teaching us sign language as we wait. This is where it gets really weird. One of the adult, I guess “camp counselors” if you will, announces that there is a very special performance. Suddenly, this lady, who looks to be in her late thirties appears out of nowhere. She’s wearing a blue, flowy dress with faint white streaks. She is slightly overweight, with shoulder height curly light brown hair. In my head, I categorize her as one of those “overly positive, “I am a powerful woman” types. The kids cheer like they know who she is already, but I’ve never seen her before, or so I thought. She begins dancing to this rhythmic jungle type music, like shaking her hips around while her dress is flowing at the bottom. That’s when the kids cheer even louder. The woman pulls off her hair, which was apparently a wig, then she pulls off her right arm, which was a prosthetic arm. She is still dancing throughout the wig and arm removal, and both arm and wig disappear, like a magic trick, I guess. That’s when I realized I’ve been here before, this exact scenario, the game show, the kids, the waiting in lines, the bogus obstacle course, and this one armed, bald dancing lady. I asked myself if I was dreaming, and that’s what caused me to wake up.
